New Garmin VivoFit Jr 2 Star Wars and Marvel enticed Kids to Exercise more

Remember, that Garmin released the cool sport tracker for kids, the Garmin VivoFit Jr. last year. It is a sport fitness tracker with a kid friendly design, step tracker and features educational games and parent management options.

Well, Garmin updated the line-up of the fitness tracker for kids, check out the Garmin VivoFit Jr 2 with new kid friendly fitness tracker. To attract more kids to get the Garmin VivoFit Jr 2. Garmin teamed up with Disney to bring the popular movie franchise Star Wars The Force Awakens, Mickey Mouse and other popular characters.

The smartband has a colorful band design that is based on popular movies and characters, designs are Minnie Mouse, Avengers, Captain America, Star Wars BB-8 and Star Wars -The Resistance. Unlike the first VivoFit Jr. the VivoFit Jr.2 has a color screen, it uses a low power 8 color memory-in-pixel (MIP) with 88 x 88 pixel resolution.

The new device is just like the VivoFit Jr. has several kid friendly features such as free app adventures, 60 minute activity goal for kids, a gamification of the activities, a free parent controlled mobile app with feature such as assigning task and chores, schedule alerts and with rewards points for the kids.  It is a swim friendly smartband with 1 year of battery life.

The band is already available for purchase and cost around $99.99 U.S dollars, you can pick from a stretchy or adjustable band and pick from Marvel, Disney or Star Wars design.
