Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon – Powered by Android Wear Cost Around $2,450 U.S Dollars

Want to have a luxury device on your wrist? I guess this Louis Vuitton smartwatch will fit your taste. Recently Louis Vuitton introduce the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon smartwatch, a wearable that spells luxury, exclusivity and of course pricey.

If you are asking about the price, well it will set you back at $2,450 U.S dollars yes it is an outrageous price for something that will become obsolete in a year or two. The Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon runs the Android Wear 2.0 O.S and just like other Android Wear devise, the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon runs the latest Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor. It has a 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal storage which is disappointing given that the Tambour Horizon cost several times over other Android Wear smartwatch with a much bigger memory.

Well for the screen, it is also not that impressive I guess we can say that it is in between mid-high end specs, having a 1.2 inch AMOLED screen with 390 x 390 pixel resolution. Other details on the specs are 300 mAh battery, it comes in gray, black and brown colors and available in three different case styles with 60 different straps according to the press release. Features include call and text messages, social app notifications, a few fitness features, but it doesn’t include a heart rate monitor.

Well under the hood, it doesn’t differ from other Android Wear offerings like that of LG, Huawei and Fossil.  I guess the main selling factor of the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon smartwatch is the design, the material on its body, as well as the feeling of exclusivity, the status symbol, the feeling of being one of the selected people with a $2,450 U.S dollars on their wrist.

The Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon is available in selected Louis Vuitton stores worldwide.
