Acer Leap Ware a New Fitness Smartwatch from Acer

Acer unveiled several products in a press event that was held in New York City, some of the products that was introduced are new laptop Acer Swift 1-5, an all in one PC Acer Aspire U27, 360 degree camera called Holo 360.

 

One of the products that captured our attention is the Acer Leap Ware, a smartwatch intended for fitness enthusiast. The fitness smartwatch that looks similar to Pebble Round and Huawei Honor Watch S1 is loaded with fitness sensor and will be available in the U.S this coming July and will cost around $149 U.S dollars.

So what are the features in the Acer Leap Ware?The smartwatch has a 1.6 inch display with Gorilla Glass SR+ protection, under the hood it has a MediaTek MT2523 chipset, it has a transflective LCD display, a power saver display that we also spotted in the Amazfit Pace. The smartwatch has the MT2511 bio sensing chip for its fitness sensors, pedometer and other health and fitness routines, it also includes a heart rate monitor. According to the report the watch can last up to 5 days with normal usage compatible with iOS and Android. So far reports and details on its true features and specs are vague, we still have to wait several months before we can still get more details about the Acer Leap Ware, so stay tuned.
